“Fact tells. It’s the stories that sell. That’s what forms the base of new-age marketing and technological products aren’t an exception. Technology is the most fast-paced industry and sees newer avenues with each product launch.” says Elzeer. According to him, brands dealing in technological products need to reach out to their target audience by simplifying the technical terms and selling compelling stories. He’s right, in fact, a survey by a website called eMarketer, showed that 49.5% of consumer tech products were purchased online in 2020 with YouTube providing the highest engagement rate as compared to other social media platforms. A lot of brands have chosen this path of appealing to their potent customers through effective influencer marketing strategies and technology influencers are doing a great job of educating their audience about every increasing technological advancement.

Starting from user queries such as ‘which phone to buy? Is this laptop worth its price tag? What do all the features mentioned by the company entail? What does it mean? Is the product really as good as its marketed or is it simply a marketing gimmick?’ Elzeer dutifully answers all the doubts, making things easier for people.

In an analysis done by Global World Index, it was found that an individual spends about 2 hours 22 minutes on the internet on average and 98% of sales representatives achieve their sales quota using social media. Besides, 51% of the consumers identify brands and items available in the market using their mobile devices. Hence it is safe to say that it is the fastest-growing form of marketing owing to its high reach, visibility, and measurability of results. Very soon it is moving towards being the primary focus for all advertisers.
